| In the book Conversations with God, Neale Donald Walsh gives a fascinating insight into our relationship with God.
One of these insights regards our relationship with God.
Neale does not believe that God only communicates with prophets and priests. The truth is that he feels that God communicates with everyone.
The only difference is that only a few people listen!
Neale expands by saying that he feels God communicates in three ways.
The first is through intuition. Neale believes that the little voice inside of us advising us to do something and giving us a gut-feeling is actually God trying to advise us.
The second is through experience. Neale believes that there are moments of such emotion that they can only be godly moments. In these moments, Neale believes, God is fully present.
The third is through the word. Neale believes that although most religions are based on this, the truth is that these is the least effective way that God communicates with us because the word is the most open to misrepresentation and mistranslation.
Take some time today to consider your relationship with God. Have you had any experiences where there was no other explanation than the presence of God? Have you ever had a gut-feeling against something that has proved to be right? Consider how God communicates with you and be more receptive to what he or she is saying.
